Lookbook Fashion Challenge: Week 10 -Black Textures

Welcome to the LookBook Design Challenge! Each week we challenge your creativity and ability to think outside of the box with a new design you need to complete in your own style.

For week 10, your challenge is to design a dress using only black fabrics and textures.

Since the color stays the same, the surface of the fabric becomes the main focus. You can work with velvet, satin, lace, leather, chiffon, sequins, tulle, or any other black material that adds depth to the design.

Think about how matte and shiny areas can sit next to each other. A satin bodice, lace overlay, sheer skirt, or velvet detail can all change the mood of the dress without adding another color.

The best designs will be featured in the gallery below.
