Lookbook Fashion Challenge: Week 5 -Transparency

Welcome to the LookBook Design Challenge! Each week we challenge your creativity and ability to think outside of the box with a new design you need to complete in your own style.

For week 5, your challenge is to complete the top part of this pink gown using transparent details in a thoughtful way.

Think about where a sheer fabric would add the most interest. You can use chiffon for the neckline, create soft transparent sleeves, add lace panels, or place delicate see-through details in an unexpected area.

You can also choose to bring transparency into the skirt with a light overlay or trailing train. Keep the design soft or make it more dramatic… just let the sheer elements feel like part of the gown, not an afterthought.

Can I hand-draw my design?

Absolutely! Both digital and hand-drawn sketches are welcome. Just make sure the picture quality is good, no one likes blurry, dark images.
